We didn't make a big deal about it, but last year around this time, our site was pulling about two thousand hits per day, which was really freaking sweet when you think about it. Anyway, I contacted the hosts of Connecticon, a gaming / scifi / web comic convention in Hartford, CT last year around April and they said they would be happy to have us with them and gave us four passes to go. Regrettably, I was unable to attend, and thus had no way of actually swinging that, so we had to respectfully decline. The Con almost died after that year, which I was very surprised about, but now it looks like Connecticon is up in full swing this year, July 7-9.
I'd like to try and raise awareness of Horsemen, so what I'm going to try to get done here is this: I'm going to try and print out some favorite comics, maybe get a shirt or two made, and have our big, fantastic litho-quality poster displayed. We can get a lot of things done by then, including a children-style book I wanted to do entitled: "Yay For Keenan," and the first ten pages of the Horsemen comic book inked and colored. If Connecticon asked us to go, we'd have to have it all done.
This is where the point of this thread comes into fruition. Their site says if you want certain guests to be there, they'd have to be asked by fans themselves and they'd consider it. While I think it's a longshot, I figure if you have some time, why not drop them a line and say "Dude, love to see some Horsemen stuff" and direct them to our MySpace and Deviant account, since FourJackasses.com is no longer up. Yeah, it's a little whorish, but what the hell? If you are of a mind and think that'd be cool, here's the link:

I guess the person to ask would be:
Director, Guest Services - Sarah Hodge-Wetherbe
Anyway, just a thought. And they probably won't even contact me, but I figured the more ink we get, the better our chances are of the comic getting picked up. Let me know what you think. Thanks for reading! You know we're going essentially into re-runs on Deviant, so right now we're on part two of the superhero story. Enjoy!
